We’re excited to launch our new website!
Tue Feb 17, 2026Today mark's the launch of our new and improved website, which we intend to become the new centrepoint of our online presence, promising a wealth of unique media and information.
Work in progress – online!
You will no doubt notice that a few pages are not yet available. Don’t worry – they are underway and will be added to the site in the coming weeks.
We’re taking our time to ensure these pages are all as informative and content-rich as possible, to make regularly visiting the website a worthwhile time for Cheddleton Flint Mill newcomers and veterans alike.
We didn’t want to delay sharing our new logo, or the look and feel of new website until all of these were ready, so please check back soon!
Work in progress – on site!
One of our main goals with the new website is to share more information, images and videos regarding projects that are underway. We’ve been posting every now and again about such things on our Facebook page, but it doesn’t let us really convey all that’s going on and likewise, it’s not a great place to archive such material for future reference.
So in the coming weeks, expect to see us really flesh out the history of Cheddeton Flint Mill with information about the numerous projects that have been going on. Everything from research surveys, to major repairs and refurbishments to critical parts of the buildings.
Just to whet your appetite, here’s a photograph recently taken from one of these projects! We don’t want to spoil the surprise any more than this, but suffice it to say we’re very excited to share more details and want to share our sincerest thanks to the Association for Industrial Archaeology for their contribution to this project – we’ll have more to say about their valued involvement, soon!
